Indication(s):  Reduces the risk of stroke in patients with prior stroke or transient ischemic attack.

Administration:  The recommended regimen is one capsule twice daily.

Pharmacology:  Antiplatelet, antithrombotic effects.

WebRx Editorial Notes:  Aspirin and dipyridamole have been around for a long time and are both available individually generically.  There has been debate in the past as to the effectiveness of dipyridamole.  Recent evidence suggests the combination of aspirin and dipyridamole are effective.
