Relenza (zanamivir for inhalation)

Indication(s): Treatment of uncomplicated acute illness due to influenza virus in adults and adolescents age 12 years and older who have been symptomatic for no more than two days.

Administration: Inhaled orally using a hand-held, breath-activated device called a Diskhaler.

Pharmacology: New class of drugs known as a neuraminidase inhibitor
