HIPAA Privacy Policy

This notice describes how medical information about you may be used and disclosed and how you can get access to this information.  Please review it carefully.

Information We Collect:  We recognize your right to confidentiality and are committed to protecting your privacy.  We use the information that we collect on our site to provide you with a superior shopping experience and to aid in delivering the highest quality pharmacy services to you.

Your Account:  When you place an order, we will ask you for information to set up "your account," which includes your name, e-mail address, mailing address, credit card number and expiration date, as well as certain other information when you order prescriptions.  We do store your medical information on our website server.  Your billing and shipping information may be stored on one of our partner sites for your convenience and to process electronic payment transactions.  Using your account information, we may send you communications that we believe are relevant to you such as prescription refill and renewal reminders, or emails. If you prefer not to receive optional email or other communication from us, please notify us by email to prevent such communications.

Prescription Information:  To fill your prescription drug order, we collect the following additional information: your date of birth, gender, drug allergies, medical conditions, illnesses, and current medications. Although we currently do not accept insurance for payment we may at a future date.  If you plan to use insurance and you can't find the member or group number, we ask that you provide your Social Security Number. Your Social Security Number is only used for purposes of seeking reimbursement from insurance companies.

Legal Disclosures and duties:  From time to time it may become necessary to disclose your account information or medical history information to public health officials in response to a valid court order for example or in order to fulfill legal obligations through inspection by governmental authorities.  Should it become necessary to comply with any legal obligation we would only do so to the extent required to meet our obligation.

Your Rights:  You have the right to an accounting of PHI (personal health information) disclosures not related to treatment, payment, or health care operations.  You also have the right to request an amendment to your PHI; to request additional privacy protections; and to obtain a paper copy of the notice.  However, RxPalace.com nor its partners do not have to agree to such requests.

Security:  When you place an order online or use the pharmacy, your personal information and credit card information are encrypted using SSL encryption technology before being sent over the Internet, making it virtually impossible for your information to be stolen or intercepted while being transferred to RxPalace.com.

Cookies:  To personalize your experience at both RxPalace.com and our partners, we use a feature on your Internet browser called a cookie. Cookies are small files that your Web browser places on your computer's hard drive. We use cookies in certain areas of our website to let us know that you are a prior customer and to retrieve certain information previously provided by you to us.  Cookies also let us know how you found us (e.g., through a particular web site or advertisement). Cookies can also be used to access information entered on the secure server.  If you choose to configure your browser to remove or reject cookies, you will not be able to make purchases or utilize other services.  We do not have remote access to cookies saved on your computer's hard drive.

Your Consent:  By using our Web site, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of information by RxPalace.com, and our partners and to the terms of this privacy policy.  If we ever change our privacy policy, we will post any changes on this page so that you are always aware of the information that we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it. If we were to make a material change to our privacy policy, we will either post a notice on our Web site or send you an e-mail.

Complaints:  You have the right to register a complaint with our pharmacy or with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services if you believe your privacy rights have been violated.  If a complaint is registered you will not be retaliated against for having done so.
